Annie Freud

Annie Freud studied English and European Literature at the University of Warwick. Her first collection The Best Man That Ever Was received the Glen Dimplex New Writers Award. She is a tutor in poetry writing and lives in Dorset with her husband. 

Picador poets Ian Duhig and Annie Freud will be reading upstairs @ Boston Tea Party in Bristol on 25 November 2011 alongside Mark Waldron and Ahren Warner. The reading will be hosted by David Briggs.

T.S. Elliot Prize shortlisted authors Annie Freud and Robin Robertson read from their work.

Chair of judges, Anne Stevenson said 'The judges have found this an exceptional year for poetry, with a record number of entries, and have agreed on a strong shortlist which is unusually eclectic in form and theme.'
