Now in its 17th year, the Orange Prize for Fiction is the UK’s most prestigious annual book award for fiction by international female writers, celebrating excellence, innovation and accessibility.
This is further success for Emma Donoghue, whose novel
Room was shortlisted for both the Orange Prize and the Man Booker Prize last year.
The shortlist for the Orange Prize for Fiction 2012 will be announced on 17th April at the London Book Fair, and the winner will be crowned on 30th May.
