BOBOY’S PRIVILEGE SPEECH
CONG. Boboy Syjuco, who is facing a plunder case, delivered a privilege speech before his peers in the Lower House recently.
His piece was about the August 23 hostage-taking incident in Luneta, Manila where eight Chinese visitors were killed by the hostage-taker.
It is evident that the controversial solon wanted to ingratiate himself to President Noynoy so that it may help solve his cases on massive graft and corruption.
Boboy wanted to join the Liberal Party, but he was rejected. In the first place, LP Chairman for Iloilo Cong. Jun-Jun Tupas Jr. does not like his “fungus face” (to borrow Inday Miriam’s words).
Anyway, according to our Malacañang source, Pres. Noynoy was not impressed by his esoteric prose.

I know a Filipina. Amelita de La Cruz "Amy". Once the daughter was wearing atight olive green army t-shirt, large upper case ARMY. Why I asked her? Amy explained "In the 50s there the first ever Miss Universe the blue eyed Finnish Armi Kuusela married a handsome Filipino real estate tycoon Virgilio Hilario. That's why Amelitas daughter is called Armi - not "Army".

A little subbing/editong won't hurt!

I know a Filipina on Sukhumvit road. A wheeler-dealer publisher and night creme producer vedor. Amelita de La Cruz known as "Amy". Once the daughter, visiting mother was wearing a tight olive green army t-shirt, large upper case white: ARMY. Why, I asked her? Khun Amy explained "In the 50s the first ever Miss Universe the blue eyed Finnish Armi Kuusela married a dashing Filipino real estate tycoon Virgilio Hilario. That's why Amelitas daughter is called Armi - not "Army". But Armi & Hilario was the first big east meet west romance.
